As flights to Lord Howe are at a premium during the peak season we recommend that you confirm your flight prior to booking accommodation.

Due to COVID-19 some things have changed on Lord Howe Island and at Blue Lagoon.

Guests will now need to claim their own luggage and then meet the Blue Lagoon bus and driver outside the terminal in the carpark. Please look for the Blue Lagoon logo on the bus.

With your health and safety in mind, we will require all guests to wear masks inside the bus at all times…This includes airport transfers and the nightly restaurant drive outs at night. We hope that you retain and wear the mask that you are given on the flight or bring your own washable/reusable mask to help cut down waste on the island.

Whilst on the island, we expect all guests to adhere to the NSW government social distancing guidelines.

We also encourage any visitors that have symptoms of the virus not to travel. Visitors showing signs of the virus after arrival will be referred to the island's doctor where you may then need to take a COVID-19 test. Once tested, visitors must remain in their room awaiting the test results. Positive tests will require the visitor and those who are travelling with them, plus those deemed to be close contacts, to remain in their rooms until further tests return a negative result.

Any itinerary changes or deep cleaning costs, must be covered by the guest. Please check with your travel insurer to confirm whether additional travel costs due to COVID-19 are covered by your insurance policy.
